Tank-ADOPTED!

Tank is a super happy and friendly 2-3 year-old Lab/Vizsla mix male who lost his family several months ago through no fault of his own. His family lost their home and, although they were apparently heartbroken to do so, they had to surrender Tank and another dog to a high-kill rural county dog shelter. Fortunately, a kind volunteer saved the dogs before they could be euthanized and placed Tank in a boarding kennel while she searched for a rescue for him. In spite of the all the change in his life, Tank has maintained a very positive attitude and is eager to find a new family to love. Tank’s tail is always wagging–in some pics you can see the blur! He gets along great with other dogs and has been a perfect gentleman since he arrived here with us. Tank has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although he may need a refresher since he was in a kennel for a couple of months. Tank is not very tall but is a solid 52 pounds. His adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Tank. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with small children so we aren’t comfortable placing any of them in homes with kids less than 4-5 years-old. We try to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
