Arlo is a 3-4 year-old All-American mutt whose breed mix is anyone’s guess. We’re going with Jack Russell Terrier and Mountain Cur mix but who knows? According to the shelter that he came from, Arlo spent his entire life living on the end of a chain and is now eager to make up for lost time. He’s a sweet boy who’s very shy and submissive when meeting new people. He’s good with other dogs but is submissive with them too. There’s not a mean bone in his body and every day in his foster home he’s becoming a little more confident and sure of himself. Arlo is learning to walk on a leash and likes to stick close to his people. He has excellent crate manners so should pick up the housetraining routine in his new home with ease. He is very eager to please and can’t wait to experience how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be in his new home. He will be the most loyal and devoted companion! Arlo weighs about 27 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Arlo. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
