Axel-ADOPTED!

Axel is a 1-2 year-old Black Lab male with an outstanding disposition. He came into a county dog shelter as a stray with a number of bite wounds so had likely encountered a dog that was not very friendly to him when he was out on his own. His wounds were all cleaned up and have healed nicely. In spite of that encounter, Axel is very friendly with other dogs and has enjoyed playing with his fellow foster dogs. This gem of a dog has excellent crate manners, is likely to be housetrained, and is very affectionate and friendly with all people that he meets. He walks nicely on a leash and seems to love to ride in the car. Axel is working on learning the sit command and takes treats very gently. He met kitties at the vet clinic and showed no interest in them. Axel deserves the very best so if you’re looking for a Lab with a fantastic disposition, take a look at Axel. He weighs about 58 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Axel. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
