Cupid-PENDING

Meet Cupid, a cute 3-4 year-old girl who looks a little like a mini-Lab. She only weighs about 33 pounds so is a great size for just about any home. Cupid came into a local county dog shelter as a stray and tested positive for heartworms there making it very difficult to find a new home. The shelter reached out to us for help with her so Cupid came to Canine Lifeline so she would get the lifesaving heartworm treatment that she needed. Cupid just finished her two month treatment and did very well so is now ready to find herself a great new home. She did very well with her 60 days of cage rest as she recuperated and is now ready to start having some fun! Cupid gets along very well with other dogs so might enjoy having a canine pal in her new home. She loves her human friends too so might also be fine as an only dog provided her family has plenty of time to spend playing with her. She does love toys, especially the squeaky ones, as you can see in her pics. After having been neglected in the past, Cupid is eager to put that behind her and experience how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be with her new family. Her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, current on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Cupid. An approved application is required before we set up meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Cupid’s heartworm treatment cost about $650. If you’d like to make a donation to help with her care so that we may save another dog in the future, please do so on our website at www.caninelifeline.org or by sending a check to Canine Lifeline, PO Box 25742, Garfield Hts OH 44125. Thank you from Cupid and Canine Lifeline!
