Kelly-ADOPTED!

This lovely girl is Kelly, a shy but very sweet 1.5 year-old Aussie/American Eskimo mix female. Kelly was turned into a rural county dog shelter by her owner who could no longer care for her. We don’t know what her previous living arrangements were like but many things seem very new to Kelly including walking on a leash. She loves to stick close to her humans and winds around your legs when walking. As she gains more confidence, she will certainly improve in that area. Kelly has excellent crate manners and enjoys curling up in her crate for a nap after playtime is over. She does well with other dogs and would likely benefit from having another dog in her new home whose lead she can follow. Kelly will need a kind and patient person or family who will allow her to take her time adjusting to her new environment. Once she’s feels comfortable, she would love to do some obedience training with her new family and may be even agility eventually. Kelly only weighs about 25 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Kelly. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
