Oliver-ADOPTED!

If you’re a Lab lover and are hoping to find one on the smaller side, that’s our Oliver. This gem of a dog came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we have no history on his previous life. He’s a one year-old Lab mix with a great disposition. We have been very impressed with his gentle demeanor and his bright-eyed, engaging look. He loved having his pictures taken and might have a future as a dog model! Oliver gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and has excellent crate manners so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee that. Someone has worked with him in the past as he will sit on command for a treat and is very close to having the shake hands command in his repertoire. Oliver is very affectionate and loving but is not a couch potato. He will need a lot of exercise to keep him busy and wouldn’t be happy left alone for long workdays. Oliver would do great with another canine pal in his new home or regular doggie daycare outings. With a little more work on the leash, Oliver will make a fantastic jogging or walking buddy. Oliver weighs about 45 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Oliver. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
