Oh my, now that’s an award-winning underbite! If you saw the “Rescue Dog” dog show on TV recently, you know that underbites are all the rage and our little Bentley could compete with the best of them! So hard to believe that this charming little guy was an unclaimed stray at a county dog shelter, but that was indeed his predicament. We saw his photo and knew that we wanted to help this boy make a fresh start with a new family. Bentley is a lively 1.5 year-old Pug mix who has never met a stranger—all dogs and people are his friends. He loves playing with other dogs his size in his foster home but settles down nicely in his crate for a nap after playtime is over. Bentley keeps his crate spotless so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He’s a busy little dog who would love a family who can spend lots of time playing with him. Bentley weighs about 14 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Bentley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
