Ethan is a great dog who has it all—good looks and a fabulous disposition! This smart and talented Border Collie mix male found himself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would have more time to find the perfect new home. We don’t have any history on this boy but he has been an absolute gem in his foster home. While he’s got lots of energy and loves to play with other dogs, he settles down nicely indoors and relaxes in his crate after playtime is over. Ethan has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He’s very friendly and outgoing with people and, when he met some kitties at the vet clinic, he seemed friendly and agreeable with them too. Ethan would excel in an obedience class with his new family to show everyone how smart he is. He is going to make a fantastic walking, jogging, and hiking buddy for one very lucky family. Ethan weighs about 41 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Ethan. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
