This boy with the unique look is Gilley, a 1 year-old scruffy who looks like a mix of Cairn Terrier and Catahoula Hound. We’ve never quite seen a dog like Gilley and, with his gorgeous markings, he’s sure to turn heads in his new neighborhood when he’s out for a walk. For a young Terrier, Gilley has been a very mellow, low-key dog in his foster home. Unlike many Terriers, we rarely hear him bark. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with similar sized dogs in his foster home. Gilley walks nicely on a leash, has excellent crate manners, and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. We’ve been very impressed with this nice boy and are sure you will be too. Gilley weighs about 20 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Gilley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
