You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer dog than Jordy! This 1 year-old Border Collie/Lab mix male came into a county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on his previous life. From there, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could take his time finding the perfect new home. The shelter staff raved about what a nice dog he is and they were spot on in that assessment. From the moment we met him, we knew he was very special. Although he’s only about a year-old, Jordy has a calm, mellow demeanor that is very endearing. He gets along beautifully with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine pal or two in his new home. Jordy is not at all hyper and settles down nicely in his crate for a nap after playtime is over. He’s been so quiet and well-mannered in his foster home that it’s hard to imagine he’s a young dog as he acts like an old soul. He walks nicely on a leash and is eager to have lots of great adventures with his new family. Jordy weighs about 55 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Jordy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
