Kiki-ADOPTED!

Here’s Kiki, a super-sweet 11 month-old Lab mix female with a fantastic disposition. It’s so hard to believe that such a great girl was an unclaimed stray at an overcrowded county dog shelter but that was indeed her predicament. It can be very tough for black dogs to get noticed in shelters so Kiki made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while taking her time finding a great new home. This girl has been a real joy in her foster home. She gets along great with other dogs—plays nicely with them but is not a hyper girl. She has just the right of amount of energy. Kiki has excellent manners in her crate so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee that. Like most Labs, she’s very food-motivated so working with her on obedience training should be a pleasure. Kiki is ready to start the next chapter of her life and is looking forward to lots of adventures in her new home. Kiki weighs about 52 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Kiki. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
