This little lady is Kiley, an adorable 1 year-old Shih Tzu mix female with long legs suggesting there might be something like Jack Russell or Rat Terrier in her family tree. She has an adorable underbite and loads of spunk. Since she came into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray, we have no history on her previous life but she’s eager to leave the past behind and make a fresh start with a new family. Kiley is very playful and gets along very well with other dogs. She has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Kiley loves to go for walks and has the stamina and the long legs to keep up with the big dogs. Once she feels comfortable with someone, she lets her inner puppy out and she is one silly girl. Kiley is going to make a great friend for someone who has the time to devote to exercising and training this little girl. Since her pics were takenm she’s been groomed and now looks a little more polished than when she first arrived at Canine lifeline. Kiley weighs about 15 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Kiley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
