Lance is a very handsome 9 week-old Hound mix boy with beautiful markings and gorgeous long soft ears. Lance’s mom Daisy was abandoned at a farm in April when she was pregnant. She gave birth to 6 pups in a barn around April 12. The property owner reached out to a local rescuer for help with this family and they stayed in a local foster until they could make the trip to Canine LIfeline on May 5. Lance, his mom, and littermates have been receiving lots of TLC in a foster home and are now ready to find their very own homes. Mama Daisy (pictured here) is a very kind and gentle 40 pound Hound mix who took great care of her pups. They are all as wonderful as she is! Lance is the only boy out of the six pups. He might be the calmest and most chill of all the pups. His foster mom calls him a ‘mama’s boy’ as he really loves being held and cuddled. We woke Lance up from a nap to take his pics so he may look a little sleepy in his photos. He can definitely keep up with his five rowdy sisters though when it comes to wrestling and playing chase. Lance is a typically sweet and loving puppy who will need all the basics including housetraining and obedience training. He needs a family who has plenty of time to devote to him and is able to let him outside every 2 hours or so during the day as he works on housetraining. Puppies are lots of fun but also lots of work so please make sure you have the time and energy to devote to a pup before submitting an application. Lance weighed about 9 pounds when he was neutered on June 9 and we expect he’ll be in the 40-50 pound range once he’s full-grown. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Lance. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
