Lola is a sweet and loving 4 year-old Beagle who had the misfortune of not only being homeless at a rural county dog shelter but also testing positive for heartworms there making it almost impossible for her to be adopted. With her future in jeopardy, Lola made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she would be able to get the lifesaving treatment that she needed. Lola has been through heartworm treatment with us and has done very well so is now ready to search for a permanent new home. Lola is a typical Beagle who loves everyone and everything, has a great sniffer, and looks forward to mealtime. She loves to talk so might not be the right dog for an apartment or condo setting. Lola gets along very well with other dogs so would enjoy having another canine pal or two in her new home. She would love to explore her new neighborhood with her new family and looks forward to lots of adventures. Lola has excellent crate manners so is likely to pick up the housetraining routine readily in her new home. She loves life and is going to make a great companion for one lucky person or family. Lola weighs about 22 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, current on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in Lola. An approved application is required before we set up meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
Lola’s heartworm treatment cost about $750. If you’d like to make a donation to help with her care so that we may save another dog in the future, please do so on our website at www.caninelifeline.org or by sending a check to Canine Lifeline, PO Box 25742, Garfield Hts OH 44125. Thank you from Lola and Canine Lifeline!
