Looking for a sweet dog with a heart of gold? Look no futher than Mya, a 1-2 year-old Boxer/Lab mix (and a touch of Great Pyrenees perhaps?) female with long legs and a slim build. This lovely and very photogenic pup is super friendly with people and other dogs that she’s met. She loves wrestling and playing chase with other dogs but settles down nicely in her crate for a snooze after playtime is over. Mya lived with kitties in a previous foster home and never had any problems with them but as a young dog, if a cat runs, she might chase for fun. She seems to be housetrained and keeps her crate spotless. Mya can be protective of her food around other dogs so if there are other dogs in her new home, mealtime must be closely supervised. She walks nicely on a leash and would make a great walking or jogging pal. Mya weighs about 51 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Mya. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
