Nicki is an adorable 7-8 month-old Shih Tzu/Bichon mix female who is in search of a new home. She was surrendered to a vet clinic after her owners couldn’t afford the surgery required to remove a nickel that she had swallowed from her stomach. Nicki has had the surgery and has recovered well. She is a spunky pup who likes to put everything in her mouth so she will need a home where she will be closely monitored so she doesn’t swallow another foreign object thinking it’s a treat. Nicki has excellent crate manners in her foster home so should pick up the housetraining routine quickly in her new home. She gets along well with other dogs and also walks nicely on a leash for a youngster. Nicki can be a little shy at first in new situations but once she lets her guard down, look out as she’s all puppy! She’s looking for a mature home with a person or family who has experience with breeds who need regular grooming and someone with an excellent vet reference as well. Nicki weighs about 13 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Nicki. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. NICKI IS AVAILABLE FOR A LOCAL NORTHEAST OH ADOPTION ONLY.
