If you’re a fan of Cattledogs, you’ll want to meet Princess! This 1 year-old girl was found abandoned in a home with her pal Nikki after the family was evicted. Princess is a very happy dog who loves being around other dogs and would do best in a home with a young canine pal who loves to play chase and wrestle. Nikki, the dog she was found with, isn’t interested in playing to the extent that Princess would like so they do not need to be adopted together. Princess is a youngster who hasn’t had much obedience training yet and does like to jump up on people for attention so that is something she needs to continue to work on. She’s a very friendly, affectionate girl with people but is no couch potato so would not do well left alone for long workdays. Princess has done well with crate-training in her foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She’s a quick learner and while walking on a leash seems to be a fairly new experience for her, she’s realizing how much fun it is now to go for a walk. If you’ve got the time and effort to devote to an active young dog, this girl is going to make an outstanding companion for years to come. Princess weighs about 34 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in Princess. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
