Sage-ADOPTED!

Sage is a very sweet 8 month-old Collie mix girl who came to us along with her big sister Skye from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter. We don’t have any history on their previous lives but have found both of them to be exceptionally sweet although a little shy at first in new situations. Sage is a little more timid at first when meeting new people but it doesn’t take her long to make friends and start showing off her puppy silliness. Sage loves diving into snowbanks so is hoping we have a snow-filled winter! Sage gets along well with all other dogs that she’s met so would enjoy having a canine pal in her new home. She’s still very much of a puppy so will need work on housetraining in her new home. She would do best with humans who aren’t gone for long stretches during the day. Sage weighs about 20 pounds currently and we expect she’ll be about 30 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Sage. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
