Sally is a super-sweet 2-3 year-old Beagle girl who came into a rural county dog shelter as a stray with Ned who is thought to be her pup. This girl has had several litters in her short lifetime but those days are over as she is now spayed. She can now look forward to being someone’s pampered pup for a change! Sally has an adorable grumpy expression sometimes but is nothing but sweet and affectionate. She can be a little shy and submissive in new situations but it doesn’t take her long to make new friends. Sally gets along well with other dogs but might be fine as the only dog in the home so she can enjoy unlimited attention and affection from her humans. She will likely need work on housetraining in her new home as she may have largely lived outside in her previous life. Sally has been working on crate-training in her foster home and is beginning to get the hang of it. She weighs about 25 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. Sally’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Sally. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
