Taylor is a handsome 4 year-old Border Collie/Beagle mix male who came to us with 6 others from a hoarding situation in a rural county. Although all of the dogs were shy and not well-socialized, Taylor was the most fearful and the slowest to let his guard down in his new surroundings. After lots of TLC in a foster home, he has made huge progress. He enjoys cuddling with his foster family and snuggling close in bed. He is a perfect companion dog that will follow your lead wherever you go. His recall is amazing! Taylor is very food-motivated so is a quick learner when there are yummy treats as rewards. His favorite activities are playing fetch, going on walks, and he gets very excited for car rides. We also think he would excel at agility. Taylor gets along great with the other dogs in the home and has proven to be a good boy. He is crate-trained and his foster family does crate him when they are gone. He also done very well with housetraining in his foster home.

Taylor weighs about 25 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Taylor. An approved application is required before we set up meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
