Zelda is a beautiful 2 year-old Beagle/Cattledog mix female with a very soft coat and pretty markings. She came into an overcrowded county dog shelter with her pal Dazzle but we have no history on her previous life. Zelda can be a little shy and reserved at first when she meets new people but it doesn’t take her long to make friends and come out of her shell. Once she feels comfortable with someone, she’s very loving and affectionate. Zelda loves snuggling with her human friends and likes to give lots of kisses too. She has excellent crate manners so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Zelda gets along well with other dogs but would likely be fine in the home as the only dog too as long as her family has lots of time to spend with her. She walks nicely on a leash and would love to take daily walks around her new neighborhood. Zelda weighs about 38 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Zelda. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
