Addie is a lovely 2 year-old Aussie/Sheltie mix female who came to Canine Lifeline a couple of months ago from a local county dog shelter. When she arrived here, she was suffering from bacterial and fungal skin infections that were making her incredibly itchy. She also had a small growth on one eyelid that needed to be addressed. After several months of TLC in a foster home, Addie is looking and feeling so much better. Her skin is in much better shape and the benign growth on her eyelid has been removed. She is now ready to find herself a great new home. Addie is a delightful dog who is always very happy and excited to see her human friends. She does a charming little tap dance when she gets excited. Addie has been great with all other dogs that she’s met but would likely do fine as the only dog in the home too as she seems to really enjoy human companionship. Addie has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She will need more work on a leash but is a quick study and eager to please so obedience training with her should be a pleasure. Addie weighs about 35 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Addie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
