Addie is a very kind, gentle, and affectionate 2 year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix girl. She was sitting in an overcrowded county dog shelter waiting for a home when a shelter volunteer pulled her to foster her and find a rescue to take her. We were contacted for help with Addie who received a glowing report from her first foster mom—excellent with both dogs and cats and as sweet as they come. She came to Canine Lifeline to work on finding the perfect new home and she has not disappointed! Addie is as wonderful as we had heard she would be. She gets along beautifully with her fellow foster dogs—plays nicely with all of them and is very tolerant of rowdy young pups. She has been very friendly with all people that she’s met. We think she might make a great therapy dog as she loves attention from people but is very polite and well-mannered. She has been working on crate-training in her foster home and doing well with that. Addie is very eager to please and picks up new routines quickly. She would excel in an obedience class with her new family and would enjoy exploring her new neighborhood with lots of leash walks. Addie weighs about 57 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped.  All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Addie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
