Allie

Allie is a very friendy 1.5 year-old Lab/Boxer/Pittie mix spayed female who was adopted from Canine Lifeline as a puppy but recently returned to us because her family said they no longer had time for her. She lived with 8 and 9 year-old kids and liked to play with them. She also lived with another dog and is very dog friendly. Unfortunately, her family never spent time training her on the leash so she pulls quite hard on walks and will need work in that area. Using an Easy Walk harness as she works on her leash manners will help make walks much more pleasant. She will also jump on people for attention so some basic obedience training is in order for her. She will need a family who has plenty of time to spend exercising her and working with her on obedience training. Allie has the energy to make a great jogging buddy. She is crate-trained and should pick up the house rules quickly in her new home as she was housetrained in her previous home. Allie does sit nicely for a treat and takes it very gently. She’s eager to find a forever home where she will be a treasured member of her family. Allie weighs about 42 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Allie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
