Amelia-PENDING

Amelia is a very sweet and lovable 2 year-old Cattle Dog mix female with lots of spots who came into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray. When she wasn’t claimed there, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while searching for a permanent new home. We’ve been very impressed with Amelia since the first day we met her. She’s a quiet, well-mannered dog who has been friendly with all other dogs and people she’s met since coming to us. Amelia walks nicely on a leash, has had excellent crate manners, and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She would likely be fine either in a home with a canine buddy or as an only dog provided her family has plenty of time to spend with her. Amelia makes fast friends with new people and is eager to start living life as a pampered pup in her new home. She weighs about 36 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Amelia. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
