Amore-ADOPTED!

Meet Amore, a very sweet 15 month-old pup whose name suits her as she is a real love. She was adopted from a shelter back in February but recently returned because her family’s schedule changed and they no longer had time for her. Her breed mix is truly anyone’s guess. The shelter called her a Feist mix but she looks a little like a Basenji to us. Whatever combination of breeds gave rise to this fun-loving pup remains a mystery for now. What do we know for sure is that Amore is a really nice dog! In her previous home, she loved playing with the kids and other dogs in the family. Her favorite canine buddy in her foster home is Roscoe. They could play chase and wrestle for hours! Amore would love a home with a secure aboveground fenced yard so she could run and play to her heart’s content. She has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Amore also walks pretty well on a leash for a young dog and will only improve with daily practice in her new neighborhood. Amore is a great size at only about 32 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Amore. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
