Amos is one great dog! We were impressed with him the moment we met him and he has not disappointed the more we’ve gotten to know him. Amos is a small 3 year-old Aussie mix with a bobtail who made the trip to Canine Lifeline to enjoy life in a foster home while searching for a permanent new home. He ended up at an overcrowded county dog shelter apparently as an owner surrender. We don’t know what circumstances caused Amos to lose his previous home but he has been a true delight and a perfect gentleman since arriving here with us. Amos is friendly and affectionate with his human friends and is always eager to make new acquaintances. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing chase and wrestling with them. Amos has also met kitties since he came to us and seems to be fine with them as well. He loves toys and is especially fond of chasing a tennis ball. Amos has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He also has wonderful leash manners and will make a great walking, hiking, or jogging buddy for his new family. We know you’re going to be as crazy about him as we are! Amos weighs about 24 pounds and his adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Amos. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
