Angel-ADOPTED!

This beautiful Black and Tan Coonhound mix is Angel, a 1 year-old pup who found herself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could take her time finding the perfect new home. While we don’t have any history on her pre-shelter life, we’ve found Angel to be a super-friendly girl who still has lots of puppy energy. She loves to play with everyone and everything so needs an active home where she can take part in lots of fun activities. Although Angel does very well in her crate, she wouldn’t enjoy being left alone for long workdays. Given her Coonhound heritage, she can be vocal if she wants something so she couldn’t do well in an apartment or condo setting. A home with another dog and a yard with a secure aboveground fence to play in would be perfect for her. She’s eager to learn and aims to please so working with her on obedience should be a fun experience. Angel is also very food-motivated! She loves to go out for a walk but does pull a bit especially if she finds an interesting scent to follow. With daily practice and lots of exercise in her new home, Angel will soon be walking like a pro. This gorgeous girl is going to make a super companion for one very lucky Hound lover! Angel weighs about 43 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Angel. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age.
