This cute face and beautiful smile belongs to Anna, a 2 year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix female who looks like she has some Husky in her family tree with her one sparkling blue eye and the red stripe on her nose. Her breed mix is just our best guess as this lovely dog came into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a stray. While we don’t know what type of life Anna led before coming into the shelter, we do know that she’s had pups before even though she’s a young dog herself. Those days are now behind her as she’s spayed and ready to live her life as someone’s pampered pup from here on out. Anna is a very kind and loving dog who is on the submissive side in new situations. She likes to flop over for belly rubs and enjoys lots of snuggling once she makes friends with someone. Anna gets along well with other dogs so might enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home. She likely hasn’t had much experience on a leash yet but is eager to explore with her new family and will improve quickly with daily practice. Anna has done well in her crate so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. She’s going to make an absolutely delightful companion for one very lucky person or family. Anna weighs about 22 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Anna. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
