This gentleman is Apollo, a 5-6 year-old Lab/Shar-pei mix male who is as kind and gentle as can be. We don’t have any history on his previous life since he came into a county dog shelter as a stray but we’ve found him to be a sweet, kind dog since his arrival with us. At 5-6 years-old, he’s over the crazy puppy stage but still has plenty of spunk to be a great walking, jogging, or hiking pal. Apollo gets along well with other dogs but seems to prefer female canine companions who are a little more mellow and low-key. He has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. Apollo is the kind of dog who is likely to walk into your house and make himself right at home. Apollo weighs about 61 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Apollo. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
