Ash

Ash is a 1.5 year-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix neutered male who was surrendered to a shelter along with his sister when his family had to move and their new landlord said the dogs couldn’t live there. His sister was adopted from the shelter but Ash was running out of time at the overcrowded shelter so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could take his time finding the perfect new home. His family had Ash since he was a puppy. He lived with children in his previous home and apparently did well with them. This boy has a serious look but is a big softie who loves to snuggle with his human friends and is submissive in new situations. He gets along well with other dogs so would likely enjoy sharing his new home with a canine buddy. Ash has excellent crate manners and is likely housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He probably didn’t have much leash experience in his previous home but he loves going for a walk and is sure to soon be walking like a pro with daily practice in his new home. This sweet dog is looking forward to making a fresh start with a new person or family. Ash weighs about 58 pounds and his adoption fee is $325. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Ash. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
