Atlas-ADOPTED!

Atlas is a very kind, gentle, and well-mannered 2 year-old Cattle Dog who found himself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could relax in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. This sweet boy can be a little shy in new situations but he warms up quickly once he knows someone wants to be his friend. We don’t have any history on his pre-shelter life but have been very impressed with his calm and collected demeanor which is not something you often find with this breed. Atlas gets along well with other dogs too and walks beautifully on a leash. He has had excellent crate manners in his foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. You can look far and wide but might have a hard time finding a sweeter boy than Atlas! Atlas weighs about 33 pounds and his adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Atlas. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
