Austin – PENDING

Austin is a very friendly 10 month-old Shepherd/Lab mix pup who came to Canine Lifeline to find a new home when his time was up at an overcrowded county dog shelter. It would have been a real shame is this boy had been euthanized for lack of space at the shelter as he is one super nice dog. We have no history on his life before he came into the shelter but he has proven to be a wonderful guest in his foster home since coming to us. Austin absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs so would really enjoy having a canine buddy in his new home. Although he’s super playful, he’s not a hyper dog and settles down nicely in his crate for a nap after playtime is over. Austin seems to be a quick learner and adjusts to new routines without too much trouble. He has done well with crate-training in his foster home so should be able to master the house rules quickly in his new home. Austin weighs about 40 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Austin. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there
