Bindi is a very friendly and outgoing 8 month-old girl who looks like she had a rough go of it before she found herself at a shelter with her brother Connor. We don’t know what their pre-shelter life was like but it’s likely they were living outdoors and left to fend for themselves for awhile. Now that they’ve both made the trip to Canine Lifeline to get a second chance at a happy life, Bindi and Connor are making the most of it. Her breed mix is anyone’s guess but we think there’s likely some Hound, Shepherd, Lab, and maybe Mountain Cur in the mix. Only a DNA test will tell for sure! Bindi has picked up the routine in her foster home very quickly. She has done well in her crate (no accidents) so should be able to learn the housetraining rules quickly in her new home. Bindi enjoys playing with other dogs so would have fun with a canine companion in her new home. Walking on a leash has been a new experience for her but she is catching on quickly. With daily practice in her new home and a canine pal to guide her, Bindi will soon be walking like a pro. Bindi weighs about 41 pounds currently but we expect she’ll be about 50-60 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Bindi. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
