Here’s Bingo, a 1 year-old Terrier mix male with big brown eyes who may have a little Bearded Collie in the mix too. We don’t know for sure since Bingo came to us as a stray from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter. Bingo may have been fending for himself for a bit as he was very dirty and full of burrs, twigs, etc when he got to the shelter. He also seemed to be very ready to defend himself around other males. Now that Bingo has been with us for a few weeks, he has been neutered and he is settling into the routine in his foster home. He has excellent crate manners so is likely to be pick up the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. In his foster home, Bingo gets along very well with female dogs but occasionally still has an issue with another male. As time goes on, he will likely improve in that area. Bingo might enjoy being the only dog in the home as he does enjoy attention from his human friends. He would love to enroll in an obedience class with his new family so that he can be the best good canine citizen he can be! Bingo weighs about 25 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Bingo. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
Bingo-ADOPTED!

Bingo was a wonderful playmate for the weekend. He loves to run and play in the yard. He loved chasing the squirrels back up the tree or to the fence. After playing in the muddy yard, he allowed me to give him a bath. He did find with female dogs but is more reactive to male dogs that are dominant. He caught on quickly to the house rules and which door to go to when he needed out. When he is done playing, he loves cuddle time with his grown up. He will be a great dog for someone’s forever family.
I adopted Bingo today. Yay for me. He is so super sweet and he is seems to be getting along fine with my female “diva” aussie. Thanks for taking such sweet care of him and fostering him for Canine Lifeline on the weekend. He is sleeping on a blanket on my lap right now. This organization is A+.
Bingo is my weekend foster. What a joy! He and my dog have been playing non-stop. He kept his cage last night clean. He was hesitant about the two steps up to my kitchen but is now going up and down them without any problems. He loves going out to watch/chase the squirrels. He comes when called. He let me brush him this morning. We are really enjoying our weekend with Bingo and know that he will be a welcome addition to someone’s forever home. Check out our Facebook page, I will add some additional pictures and videos of him. He looked taller in his pics but he is only 25 lbs and is a great size.
