Blair is a darling Terrier mix pup who was born on Nov 27. Her mom Kami (a 6 year-old, 30-35 pound girl who looks like a Scottie/Pug mix) had come into an overcrowded county dog shelter as a pregnant stray and gave birth to 8 healthy pups two weeks later. We have no idea who the father of the pups is. The whole family was cared for in the home of a shelter volunteer until they could make the trip to Canine Lifeline on Dec 18. At about 10 weeks old now, Blair is ready to find a great new home of her very own. She is a very social, sweet, and loving puppy who is playful, silly, and affectionate with her human friends. Blair is not yet housetrained but doing well with pee pads so will need a family who has the time to get her outside about every 2-3 hours during the day as she works on that. She cannot be left alone for long workdays. She weighs about 6-7 pounds currently and we expect she’ll be in the 25-35 pound range once she’s full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Blair. She will be ready for adoption on Sunday Feb 9. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
