Blue Ivy-ADOPTED!

Blue Ivy is a very spunky 4.5 month-old Mountain Cur mix pup who was found as a stray along with her three littermates and taken to the local county dog shelter. All four pups were in very poor condition with demodectic mange (noncontagious) resulting in extremely itchy skin and extensive hair loss. Hard to believe when you see these kiddos now, as their skin healed very quickly and their coat filled back in within about a month while being cared for at the shelter. Once they were on the mend, this little family made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in foster homes while searching for permanent new homes. Blue Ivy has been sharing her foster home with her sister Kristen and the two spend their days wrestling, playing chase, and power napping. They also get along well with their foster family’s other dogs. Blue Ivy has been working on crate-training and housetraining in her foster home and doing well with both. She recently mastered the sit command and is eager to learn lots more in her new home. Blue Ivy is looking for a home where her family will have plenty of time to spend with her. She wouldn’t do well left alone for long workdays as she will need to continue work on housetraining and her house manners. Blue Ivy is the smallest of the litter and weighs about 15 pounds currently. We expect she will be 35+ pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations for her age including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Blue Ivy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
