Bogie-ADOPTED!

Boxer lovers, meet Bogie, a fun-loving, super-cute 1 year-old freckled-faced guy who’s overflowing with Boxer enthusiasm and zest for life. Bogie came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we don’t have any history on his pre-shelter life but we have found him to be still very much of a puppy. Bogie loves everyone and everything and tries to play with every dog he meets. He has the typical Boxer style of play so if there’s a canine buddy in his new home, that dog must enjoy a rough and tumble play style. Bogie has been very friendly with all people he’s met since coming to us but does need to work on his manners a bit as he likes to jump up for attention. He has had excellent crate manners in his foster home so may be housetrained although we can’t guarantee it. He loves to go for a walk and explore but will need additional work on his leash skills as he does love to charge ahead. We’ll send Bogie home with a harness so he can enjoy walks in his new neighborhood as he works on his leash manners. With his outstanding temperament and fun-loving personality, Bogie is going to make a delightful companion for an active person or family. Bogie weighs about 50 pounds currently but is thin and working on gaining about 5-10 pounds to reach his ideal weight. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Bogie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
