Boomer is a lovable 4 month-old Great Pyrenees puppy who came to Canine Lifeline from a county dog shelter along with his brother Bruno. Boomer is both a little bigger and a little more shy in new situations than his brother. They’re both equally sweet though and are very good puppies. Boomer is currently enjoying life in a foster home where he’s working on housetraining and some basic puppy obedience. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and has enjoyed meeting lots of new people. Great Pyrenees are a breed like no other so we are looking for homes for Boomer and his brother with people who have previous experience with the breed. The following link provides valuable information about the breed and their specific needs. Boomer will need a home with a secure fixed fenced yard. As a pup, he will need a family who is home much of the time to devote to his housetraining and continued socialization. Boomer weighs about 30 pounds at 4 months of age and his adoption fee is $275. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Boomer. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. BOOMER IS AVAILABLE FOR A LOCAL NORTHEAST OHIO ADOPTION ONLY.
