Boots

This super-cute little guy is Boots, a 1 year-old who looks to us like a Tibetan Spaniel mix. Without a DNA test, we’ll never know for sure because he was abandoned in the parking lot of a county dog shelter with no info provided. After his stray hold was up, Boots made the trip to Canine Lifeline so that he would be able to take his time finding the perfect new home. Boots can be very vocal when he doesn’t get his way so he wouldn’t be a good fit for apartment or condo living. He keeps his crate spotless but doesn’t like being in a crate and will bark to be let out. The best situation for Boots will be in a home with a family who isn’t gone for long periods of time so that he can spend as much time around his people as possible. Another dog to play with in his new home would also be on Boots wishlist. He is a very spunky little dog who is going to need lots of exercise and playtime to keep him occupied and content. Doggie daycare might also be a great option for Boots. Boots is a super-friendly pup who has never met a stranger. He views all people and dogs as his friends! Boots does not have accidents in his crate so is likely to be pick up the house rules quickly in his new home. Boots weighs about 23 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Boots. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
