Brando is a sweet 6 month-old Boxer/Lab mix neutered male with a bobtail. He was found as a stray in a rural area and when he wasn’t claimed, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could enjoy some TLC in a foster home while he looks for a permanent new home. Brando arrived with a few scrapes and scratches from his time as a stray but is definitely on the mend. He’s also underweight but has a great appetite and is working on putting on much needed weight. Brando absolutely loves playing with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine buddy or two in his new home. He is working on crate-training and housetraining in his foster home and will need to continue both in his new home. Brando is a smart boy though and very food-motivated so should be a quick study. This sweet boy is going to be very devoted to the person or family who shows him how wonderful a dog’s life can and should be. Brando weighs about 39 pounds currently but we expect he’ll be about 50 pounds or so once he’s full-grown. His adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Brando. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
