Meet Brandy, a lovely 1.5 year-old Shepherd/Pittie mix female with a pretty smile and a wonderful disposition. This girl was found as a stray and when she wasn’t claimed, she made the trip to Canine Lifeline to find herself the perfect new home. You won’t find a more friendly and affectionate girl than Brandy! She gets along beautifully with other dogs and loves playing chase and wrestling with her fellow foster dogs. Brandy does like to chase cats so will need a kitty-free home. She was adopted in January but recently returned to us through no fault of her own. There were two other female dogs in her home, one of whom constantly tried to pick a fight with Brandy. The younger Dalmatian mix was Brandy’s best buddy. Brandy also lived with a 12 year-old boy and was wonderful with him. She’s a very agreeable girl who picks up new routines quickly. She is crate-trained and likely to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home as she’s very eager to please. Brandy will need some work on her leash manners and walking her with an Easy Walk Harness will certainly help as she gains more experience in that area. She would love to enroll in an obedience class with her new family and show everyone just how very smart she is! Brandy weighs about 50 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Brandy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We respond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
