This little cutie with the blue eyes is Brewster, a 1.5 year-old boy whose breed mix is truly anyone’s guess. If anyone needs a doggie DNA test, it’s Brewster! He came to us as a stray from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we have no history on him. The sending shelter called him a Pug mix and while he’s about Pug size, he has a longer coat and those sparkling blue eyes so maybe there’s some Aussie in his family tree. Although we can’t tell you with any assurance what breed mix he is, we can definitely say that Brewster is one great little guy! He’s been very friendly with other dogs and people since coming to Canine Lifeline. Brewster has had perfect crate manners in his foster home so ought to be able to pick up the house rules with ease in his new home. He’s got enough spunk to be a great little hiking and walking pal but will be ready to cuddle up on a cold winter night too. Brewster weighs about 14 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Brewster. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
