Calling all little dog fans! You’re going to want to meet Bridget, a pipsqueak of a 7-8 month-old Chihuahua mix with an adorable little bobtail. This little girl is all puppy and has never met a stranger. She was an owner surrender at an overcrowded county dog shelter and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she would have more time to find the perfect new home. We don’t know why she lost her home but she is going to make one new family VERY happy. Bridget loves to cuddle and be hugged but also loves to run around at full-speed in true puppy fashion. She gets along well with other dogs and hasn’t been intimidated by larger dogs in her foster home. Bridget is working on crate-training and housetraining in her foster home and will need to continue both in her new home. She weighs about 7 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Bridget. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
