Bristol is a very photogenic 9 month-old pup who’s main goal in life is to play, play, play! She looks like a cross between a Border Collie and a Rat Terrier and is a great size at only about 30 pounds. Bristol was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by her owner who could no longer care for her. We don’t know what her previous living situation was like but Bristol adjusted very quickly to life in her foster home. She looks forward to lots of playtime each day with her fellow foster dogs so would truly enjoy having a playful canine pal or two in her new home. Regular trips to doggie daycare or the dog park would also be high on her wish list. Bristol does well in her crate with no accidents so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She’s a smart pup who’s very food-motivated so should excel in obedience training with her new family. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Bristol. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
