Brock is a super-cute, fun-loving 2 year-old Beagle mix who may have a little Jack Russell Terrier in his family tree. Hard to believe that this great dog was an unclaimed stray at an overcrowded county dog shelter but that was indeed his plight. He made his way to Canine Lifeline so he could relax in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. Since his arrival here with us, Brock has been a friend to everyone—human and canine alike. He’s very eager to please and up for any activity you’d like to include him in. He enjoyed all the attention that came with having his photos taken. He seems to be a quick study as we were working on the sit command with him during his photo shoot and he seemed to be getting it. Brock has had excellent crate manners since he’s been with us so may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He would love to move in with an active person or family who can spend a lot of time with him—playing, hiking, and learning new tricks are high on his list of fun things to do! Brock is going to make a great buddy for one lucky person or family. Brock weighs about 32 pounds and his adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. Since coming to Canine Lifeline, he’s had a dental cleaning with a few extractions and now flashes a pearly white smile. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Brock. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
