Brody-ADOPTED!

Brody is one great dog! This active, fun-loving 1.5 year-old Aussie/Basset mix male has truly never met a stranger. Everyone, both human and canine, is his friend or at least he thinks they should be! This guy was living with an elderly woman along with a number of other dogs. She contacted her local shelter for help when her health problems prevented her from properly caring for the dogs. The shelter contacted us for assistance with a couple of them and Brody and one of his buddies made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could work on finding perfect new homes. We have found Brody to be an absolutely delightful guy. He’s not only gorgeous with his beautiful chocolate/white coat and partially blue eyes but looks so very cute with his short legs. Brody is truly one of a kind and will certainly turn lots of heads when he’s out for a walk in his new neighborhood. Brody has done well with crate-training in his foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in his new home. He walks quite well on a leash in spite of no formal training to date. We think he would be lots of fun to take to obedience training as he’s very eager to please and would love strutting his stuff for the whole class. He was quite fidgety during his photo session, wanting to go play with the other dogs, so you’ll have to meet him in person to see just how handsome he really is. Brody is going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. He weighs about 42 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Crowley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
