Brogan-ADOPTED!

Meet Brogan, a very photogenic 1 year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix male who was surrendered to an overcrowded rural county dog shelter by his owner who could no longer care for him. We don’t know what kind of life Brogan had before coming into the shelter but he’s been a good guest in his foster home since arriving here with us to search for a permanent new home. Brogan gets along well with other dogs and does well in his crate so should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. Brogan is very food-motivated and willing to do just about anything for at treat so working with him on obedience should be a rewarding experience. He would likely do fine as the only dog in his new home provided his family has plenty of time to spend with him. Brogan definitely has the spunk to keep up with the big dogs and is going to make a terrific walking, jogging, or hiking buddy for anyone who’s looking for a small dog. Brogan weighs about 16 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Brogan. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
