Brooklyn

Meet Brooklyn, an adorable 6 month-old cutie who looks like a mix of Boston Terrier and Rat Terrier or Chihuahua. She is one very friendly and spunky little dog who likes to keep busy. Brooklyn is definitely not a couch potato and wouldn’t enjoy being left alone for long workdays. She was surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter when her family had no time for her. Brooklyn has been very friendly with all dogs and people that she’s met since coming to us—no one is a stranger to this little girl! She loves to go for a walk and does pretty well on a leash. Brooklyn definitely has the stamina to hike with the big dogs and would make a great walking or hiking buddy for someone who wants a little companion who they can pick up and carry over puddles. She has done well in her crate in her foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She would love having a playful canine buddy in her new home and a basket full of great dog toys. This fun-loving little dog is eager to join her new family for lots of summer adventures. Brooklyn weighs about 15 pounds currently and may be about 20 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $400. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Brooklyn. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
