Bucky is a very lovable 10 month-old Boxer mix pup with loads of personality and charm along with a sweet little underbite. He was found as a stray and when he wasn’t claimed at the shelter, made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could relax in a foster home while searching for a permanent new home. Bucky can be a little shy in new situations and when meeting new people but it doesn’t take him long to warm up to someone once he knows they want to be his friend. Bucky loves other dogs so would benefit from having a playful canine buddy in his new home. He is working on crate-training and housetraining in his foster home and will need to continue both in his adoptive home as he learns the house rules. Bucky loves toys and would enjoy a home with a yard that has a secure aboveground fence so he can have lots of fun outside. He walks quite well on a leash for a youngster and is going to make a great walking, jogging, or hiking buddy for his new family. Bucky weighs about 36 pounds and his adoption fee is $375. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Bucky. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
